Conveniently located on the campus of St. Luke’s Hospital, the Pain Clinic at ProMedica St. Luke’s Hospital was established to help those living with chronic pain. It offers evaluation and treatment for conditions including back pain, herniated discs, neck and shoulder pain, muscle and joint pain, nerve pain and shingles.
Using a team approach that involves nurses, specialists, therapists and your family doctor, anesthesiologists Elizabeth Fowler, MD, and Patrick Schafer, MD, work with you and your family to create a plan of care. Developed just for you, the course of treatment is designed to help relieve your pain, teach you how to manage your pain, and help you restore your quality of life.
