At ProMedica Hospice, the types of support services we provide vary from patient to patient. Our goal with our support services is to reduce the stress and pressure on you and your family allowing you to make the most of your time together.
Spiritual Support Services
For some patients and families, serious illness can raise questions about meaning and purpose.
To help people with spiritual distress, ProMedica Hospice offers non-denominational spiritual support. Our chaplains can help people find answers that fit their own beliefs.
Even if patients and families have their own spiritual support, they may want to talk with a ProMedica Hospice chaplain. We have experience helping people who are struggling with questions related to the end of life.
We also respect the wishes of any patient or family member who does not want contact with one of our chaplains.
Bereavement Support Services
Losing someone close to you is difficult. And the grieving process is different for everyone. ProMedica Hospice is here to help during this very challenging time with support groups, counseling services, community outreach programs, even phone calls, and home visits.
