Vascular Consultation

The physicians at Jobst Vascular Institute (JVI) treat any number of arterial and venous diseases and conditions. Please schedule a consultation if you are seeking treatment for carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysm, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), deep vein thrombosis, critical limb ischemia, chronic venous insufficiency, or leg ulcers. All of our vascular surgeons are certified by the American Board of Surgery and are extensively experienced in vascular practice.

Where We Are Located

Jobst Vascular Institute is located on the 4th and 5th floors of the Conrad Jobst Tower on the ProMedica Toledo Hospital campus. This site is home to our physician offices, administrative offices, examination and procedure rooms, the outpatient vascular laboratory, anticoagulation services, Vein Solutions, and the vascular rehabilitation program.

Vascular surgery is performed primarily at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. In addition, we offer treatment of chronic wounds at the Wound Care Center in West Toledo. JVI clinical services are also available at ProMedica Flower Hospital in Sylvania.

We also provide vascular services at six outreach clinics throughout northwest Ohio, including Defiance, Fremont, Fostoria and Wauseon. Two additional outreach clinics serve the needs of the community in southeast Michigan—one in Adrian, and the other in Tecumseh. Appointments and Office Phone Calls

Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our staff is more than happy to assist you with appointments, prescriptions, surgery scheduling, and general information during our office hours. All office visits are by appointment only. If you are a new patient, you must be referred by a physician.

Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to keep an appointment or if you will be late for an appointment. Similarly, we will contact you as soon as possible if it is necessary to reschedule your appointment. We try to see patients as scheduled, but occasionally our physicians are called for emergency surgery and must adjust their schedules accordingly. We appreciate your understanding at these times and work hard to make any rescheduling as convenient as possible for you.

If you are calling regarding surgery scheduling or prescriptions, please try to call prior to 4 p.m. to ensure that we have enough time to fulfill your request. When calling for a prescription refill, please have the name and telephone number of your pharmacy ready.

Insurance Information
JVI accepts most insurance plans, and we will do the billing for your primary and secondary insurance companies. The more familiar you are with your coverage and benefits, the more smoothly the insurance process will go. Please bring your insurance card to your appointment so that we have all of your information.
