Statement Regarding ProMedica St. Luke's Hospital
posted on: 04/23/2014
On Tuesday, April 22, 2014, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit ruled in favor of the Federal Trade Commission’s challenge to the joinder between ProMedica and St. Luke’s Hospital. We are extremely disappointed by the decision and intend to appeal.
ProMedica St. Luke's Hospital will continue to operate as normal as ProMedica pursues additional legal options
In the meantime, we would like to emphasize that St. Luke’s Hospital remains a member of ProMedica. St. Luke’s will continue to operate as normal as we pursue additional legal options. We will continue to serve patients and all health plans currently accepted at St. Luke’s will continue to be accepted.
