FOSTORIA, OHIO, December 20 – ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital hosted a retirement celebration on Dec. 17 to recognize 2013 retirees. Eleven employees were honored at the luncheon in the hospital’s lower level conference center.
Together, these individuals boast 350 years of service to ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital and the Fostoria community.
Linda Bali, RN, outpatient surgery: 25 years of service
Peg Frankart, RN, BSN, MBA, vice president, patient care: 35 years of service
Sue Harber, RN, utilization review: 23 years of service
Lynne Hunker, RN, emergency: 38 years of service
Brenda Long, environmental services: 27 years of service
Rod McCune, RRT, cardiopulmonary: 33 years of service
Roi Ann Rouser, RN, med/surg/ICU: 43 years of service
Dean Smith, MT, manager, laboratory: 41 years of service
Vicki Welly, North Central Women’s Health Center: 19 years of service
Melissa Whitmer, health information services: 31 years of service
During the retirement celebration, Tom Borer, chief operating officer, ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital, acknowledged the contributions of these outstanding employees. “Although we are all called to health care for different reasons, you should all be very proud of the impact you’ve made on the lives of others,” said Tom Borer. “May you be blessed in retirement in return for the many sacrifices you and your families have made over the years to ensure patients and visitors were well cared for. Congratulations!”
