Annual ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital Foundation Fundraiser to Benefit Cancer Patients
posted on: 08/20/2013FOSTORIA, OHIO, August 19, 2013 – The 2013 ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament, Dinner and Auctions will be held Thurs., Sept. 12 at Loudon Meadows Golf Club, Fostoria.
Proceeds from ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital Foundation’s annual and only major fundraiser will be used to initiate an emotional support program for cancer patients. Last year, the hospital opened a new Cancer and Infusion Center. This is the next step in enhancing patient care.
The golf tournament will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by cocktails and dinner at 4:30 p.m. Evening festivities also include silent and live auctions, live entertainment by the Jeff McDonald Swingmania Band and an authentic three course steak dinner. Tickets for the dinner and auction are $50 per person.
Those who are unable to attend, but would like to support the cause, may participate in a 50/50 golf ball drop. Tickets are available for $15 for one ball (or chance) or three balls for $25. To purchase tickets in advance, please call the Foundation office at 419-436-6824.
The 2013 Charity Pro-Am Golf Tournament, Dinner and Auction is chaired by Foundation Board Member, Susan Goodman, First Federal Bank. She is supported by a committee of community leaders and hospital staff.
