Women's Advanced Cancer Care
We know too many women and families who have been touched by breast cancer, which is why we're dedicated to doing everything we can to help in its early detection. In addition to digital mammography, we have the region's first dedicated MRI system and a cancer genetics program for people with a strong family history of cancer.
Digital Mammography
If you're over 50 or have dense breast tissue, you could benefit from our state-of-the-art digital mammography technology. This early detection investment has significantly enhanced the quality and accuracy of breast cancer screenings by offering the most thorough and comprehensive breast exam. It even means shorter exam times.
Breast MRI
ProMedica Toledo Hospital Breast Care Center is home to the region’s first dedicated breast MRI system. Breast MRI does not replace digital mammography; rather, it works in conjunction with routine mammography and provides valuable information for the detection and staging of breast disease.
Women’s Health Center
We understand that each stage of a woman’s life brings unique health concerns. The Women’s Health Center on the campus of Herrick Hospital is an outpatient facility with a team of health care specialists who offer women compassionate, high-quality care.
