When the unexpected happens and you or someone you love has received a traumatic injury, you understand that timing is everything. Such serious situations call for precise coordination among multiple facilities and personnel. At ProMedica, we know that treating trauma requires a team effort. Our trauma services team works tirelessly for the health and safety of our patients. When minutes and seconds count, everyone has the same goal.
Our staff sees nearly 2,000 pediatric and adult patients annually. Transportation services include ProMedica Air (air ambulances) and a ground fleet of mobile intensive care units and ambulances. With these facilities and transportation technologies, we can make sure that patients are transported quickly to the most appropriate hospital for their medical condition.
Trauma care does not end when the immediate medical crisis is over. Our trauma services team is excellent precisely because we are committed to improving our services and serving the community. We provide community programming for injury prevention, injury education and the continuing education of trauma team members. You can trust that our trauma care team strives constantly to improve the quality of care through research, innovation, and comprehensive quality assessment.
