The Joint Commission Accreditation
All hospitals within ProMedica are accredited by The Joint Commission. Accreditation means that our hospitals have demonstrated compliance with national standards for patient safety and quality of care in surveys conducted by The Joint Commission.
We at ProMedica view these surveys not as one-time "inspections" of compliance with standards, but rather as part of our continual commitment to patient safety and quality care. We embrace the opportunity to have key processes validated and welcome recommendations for improvement.
We truly hope you are pleased with your care and stay at a ProMedica hospital or other medical facility. If for any reason you are not, please talk with your nurse or any member of our staff. You can also share your concerns with a hospital patient representative.
If your concerns persist or if you are not satisfied with the resolution, you may call the Ohio Department of Health at 1-800-342-0553 or The Joint Commission at 1-800-994-6610.
