About Our Nurses
Quite often, we hear how much our nurses love their jobs. We hear it from the nurses themselves, as well as our patients. That’s because there’s a lot at ProMedica to make a nurse happy – a supportive and collaborative environment, the appropriate resources, continuing education, professional advancement, a nursing research program, and competitive pay, among many reasons.
The fact is, our nurses are an integral part of our healthcare team. They work side-by-side with physicians. And, while on the job, they take appropriate initiative, embrace responsibility and work diligently to create a safe, compassionate and healing environment. It does not go unnoticed.

ProMedica’s collaborative nursing structure means you have the opportunity help guide and advise the direction of nursing practice based on standards, evidence and best practice. The council supports the recommendations and actions of the Nursing Leadership Collaborative.
